These are the days were truth is more valuable than gold. Gods World is seeking out members who are interested in finding the truth from amongst the lies. Considering how much science has done to fight disease and alleviate suffering, I cannot see why anyone would CARE what god's truth is on the subject. Obviously the people who wrote the Bible knew nothing about the germ theory of disease. Only recently has MAN discovered the causes of infectious disease and learned to save millions who would have died otherwise. "God" remains strangely mute about anti-biotics and vaccinations- maybe he didn't know?
#1 - Thu May 7, 2009 9:29 AM EDTActually there is scripture that has healing remedies ,but unfortunately I am not good at all in remembering verse and script .Smiles I will find some for you .I think leprosy was the first skin cancer ,people still die from skin cancer .Makes you wonder about the myths in famine or curse . Although death is a grief no one wants to bear ,Death or trauma of a loved one will give the strongest believers doubt ,it's a natural process of mental healing ,gaining strength in belief is daily living ,science even with God's guidance still cant fix everything ,but understanding the blessings in living bring forth hope ever-after , does come from above .
kaviag - In my opinion, God created the human mind. So to answer your question, he is working on this. Patience is a virtue.

The truth is in the garden there were no diseases until man fell by way of sin. At this point God created natural remedies to combat disease. The enemy satan, devil, lucifer and whatever name you prefer to use started to pervert Gods creations on this earth because man had given up his authority to him. This doesn't mean that we don't have authority on earth Jesus Christ has redeemed our authority we just have to believe and implement this. Gods power is greater than any medicine created by man. It is Gods desire that none should perish but seek him out and love him as he has loved us.

PS: In the old testament God created a diet to live by then, this was created to combat disease and sickness by not eating unsafe foods that would be contaminated with bugs and disease.

First of all you have to understand what sin is. The fruit itself was not the sin it was the disobedient act. Sin is disobedience to God not peeing on the rug. Two Jesus saved me from my sins not the sins of Adam or Eve or anyone else. Three God didn't curse us with disease but the enemy perverted things in this world to cause this. Now you may misunderstand my intentions, but my job is not to convince anyone that these things are the truth it is the Holy Spirits job. Mine is to plant seeds and spread the word in love. If you truly seek out the truth you will find it if you have ears to hear it you will. I am sure you have come across the Bible thumping religious fanatic that is determined to convince you or anyone else of these things but these people misunderstand what there job is even though they may have good intentions. People tend to forget the love part but I bring you these words out of love for people. So may God bless anyone who reads these words.

#3 - The Holy Spirits job, to confirm (if I am willing to listen), cause the seed to sprout, and grow into a tree of life for me. If I am willing to listen and fallow the directions I am given

Thankyou for your comments and joining the conversation. Today it seems that truth is not valued like it used to be same for honor, loyalty and faithfulness. It seems we as a planet have grown into the me and mines attitude. Not that it hadn't ever existed but it has grown exponintailly. I know what Gods truth is not just by what I have read but what God has put in my heart. I believe that truth is not just something you can see or hear but you can feel deep down in your gut. Anyway just a little more food for thought.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ,on the first day he created light and darkness , question- how many days were there between creating heaven -earth ,than light and darkness .TIME is so vast , has it not gone on forever even until today ?Is this alone not proof in existence .
I find difficultly understanding in how the existence of God is denied , that's a mind denial preference for people, non believers always in the final end to their life's journey eventually find that true belief , I find it simply through knowing that no human holds the sun in the sky , no human makes the universe spin in unison ,in a universal language we all cry together for those trapped in disaster , and we all laugh together in celebration of happy unexpected events ,such as child found in woods after four days , healthy and alive .Perhaps not only should we perceive understanding in believing in God ,but we should also be overwhelmed in knowing that God Believes in us , for he put us here to do HIS Will .So easy to just believe ,if one says he does not exist , that one must also think ,he could have , so simply I say to doubters , what do you doubt ,truth or fact , name the man or woman that created earth if you can . But you cant can you ?
#9 - Thu May 14, 2009 7:29 PM EDTI have believed for sometime that God was. The explanation was hard for me to grasp so when I heard a message on this subject I concluded it with the word, "WAS". This means to me always and from Eternity God existed. To figure out time we first need to understand there is no time with God, time is for man. Peter said "A day with the Lord is as 1,000 years and a 1,000 years as one day with the LORD". Just looking into the vast universe one has to know that a human did not create this.
I like what is said about the nes that wait until death. At the point of their leaving I believe they are fully aware of the existence of God. I fear they see there destination and where they will be for eternity. So it is truth that God existed in the beginning and that he is still on his Throne in heaven controlling everything in the universe.
There is no denying His handy work. Just think about the birth of a child and the process of that cell or seed becoming a human being. No man can do it and do it with precision. Isn't God great, and his name also, Jesus.

Someone help me out here. What truth are we looking for? Example. The oneness of the Godhead. Is Jesus God manifested in the flesh? Once saved always saved? The reason I am asking is I do not want to jump into the middle of someones belief and not be welcomed. So help me out here. I am a bible believer and I follow the teaching of the early church. I believe the church is the body of Jesus Christ and we come together as one in Him. I do understand the gospels and I find them leading to the Book of the Acts of the Apostles. From there forward I believe that the words of Peter, Paul and the later are the ways we must live. So again I ask What is TRUTH?

I read the bible as a love story , told from the hearts of those who loved their God, family,friends GOOD and BAD with as deep a passion as we do today . I read the Bible as a science of evolution ,filled with the knowledge of astronomers scientists , physicians ,profiteers , with the use of older tools and less modern communications and the facts learned through debate . Funny how we still debate what if the apple had not been ate . I read the Bible with the knowledge of foresight , in knowing there is more to the story,I read Revelelations as a beginning and end, knowing the thruth is in ones final breath .
People just quit wirtting records about the new stuff umm for many many years I guess ,you know ,stuff built through new ages I wonder what was not written between the end in revelations and the ice age .,smiles. Technology and God ,in the same sentance ,a miss understanding into the belief that how you believe that ONE does exist is in the holding in the heart of the believer and there the real truth remains safely between Your heart and Your mind and no words can change the truth as your your-self understand it , The real truth lays with-in living life ,I cant walk your steps ,nor can you walk mine , my blessings in life may not be the same as yours ,but hey ,we can all agree no human holds the sun ,moon ,and stars in the skies we all see .

Thanks for the comments. There is a question posed to us what truth do we seek out. The truth I seek out is for daily life and the answers to combat issues of this world. First of all God is love without God we would have no love. If we see God as love we can also see him as truth. That being the case then we can assume who or whom is the author of deceit. As it stands in this world we have a power-full enemy but we have an all power-full God over heaven and earth. If we seek out Gods truth through his word and his Holy Spirit we can and will find the answers for our daily journey through life. Life is a gift everlasting life with God is the ultimate gift. I apologize for not posting some newer articles but will soon. Thanks again for all the comments and everyone is welcome.

Your welcome RuthyJ , I have been reading and people have been sharring some really good beliefs .
"What is truth?" Jesus said. "I am the way the truth, and the life". "No one comes unto the Father but by me."
Therefore, I believe that Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit, (the Triune God), are truth. They are the truth our souls long for. All other "sand" is "sinking sand"!
